Today's outfits will be all about the fashion icon Serena Van Der Woodsen.
Serena, just like Blair, is a comum name in this fashion decade we are in. Her personal style after the explosion of the TV Show, Gossip Girl, Serena is a fashion inspiration to every girl that wants to be classy and completely fashion at the same time.
When we think about Serena, the first thing that comes to mind is the glamour, the stylish clothes and the street style fashion outfits. She has a personal style which makes her recocnizable anywhere she goes.
The first of three outfits we sapareted today, the first is the casual oufit of Serena. As said before, she wears a loto f street-style, the simple fashion but still really fashionable. In this one, she’s wearing a simple black dress, and you can find it anywhere.
The example we’ll give to you today is the Fashion Nova dress, that we think express Serena’s style and not only in this outfit.
For the shoes, the over the knee boots are something really comum nowadays, Serena used to rock it few years ago. The boots we’ll show you, are also from Fashion Nova and you can remake it in different colors, just like the dress and give the outfit your own touch.
The hat is a simple but really huge part in this outfit. Simple and classy, but a huge difference here. Our choose for the hat is from Nordstrom that is almost the same as hers.
To the second outfit, we chose the classic + street style Serena. Here she wears a lot of layers and neutral colors, making it more elegant than mixing a lot of different colors. To her first layer, she has the plaid pants in neutral colors. This one is from Cleo and we think it’s a great substitute for her leggings.
Second layer, is the white hoodie/sweather under the coat, giving it another neutral point in the outfit. To this second item, we chose the Bershka’s white hoodie. It’s casual but not too oversized to be used under the coat, just like hers.
The third layer is the gray coat. The biggest and final layer. A classic coat with simple buttoms but when put with the over the knee boots, it’s a whole street style. The coat that we chose it’s ZARA’s coat.
For the shoes, she rocks again the over the knee, that you can easily find on Fashion Nova again.
For the accessories we have the purse and the gloves. Both are simple and classic but add more style to the outfit. The perfect substitutes we found is the purse from Amazon and the gloves from Etsy.
For the last outfit, we're going more fashion than ever & with a lot of sparkle. This is the chic but also classic and so fashion Serena's outfit, that shows perfectly her personal style. The glamour is present in evey piece and this is what defines Van Der Woodsen.
For the white blouse she wears we chose a basic blouse from Zara, that pretty matches Serena's.
For the second piece, we have black shorts, another classic part of the look. For the shorts, we chose this one from Forever 21.
For the las piece we have the whole BOOM! of the outfit, that is extremely Serena, mix the classic with the modern, that is the sparkle blazer. This one is from Pink Club Wear. It's almost the same as the one she's wearing, so we think it's great match.
Just a reminder that all the outfits can be adjusted to all the types of body, so don't worry if you think it's just for one size.
And this is not about remaking only, but recreating and use what you already have home. We're sure Serena wouldn't mind reuse her pieces.
